Safety Policy Creation

An Environmental, Health, and Safety Policy Manual demonstrates leadership's commitment to EHS and articulates key program concepts for day-to-day business operations. The policy manual provides employees with written health and safety policies and procedures for promoting a safe and healthy work environment. The EHS Policy Manual is the foundation of every safety program.

Vector Safety can work with your team to develop your Company's comprehensive EHS Policy Manual. These manuals are not the typical "insert your company name here" policy manuals. We conduct a 30–45-minute interview with you to find out what policies apply to your Company, whether it meets OSHA requirements, which policies are required by the online databases, and which policies are needed.

We personalize each policy to your Company's scope of work and include all associated forms. Suppose any policy requirements change or new policies are required (due to online databases, changes in the scope of work, or changes in regulations). In that case, Vector Safety will make those changes or create new policies for a year after the initial date of the manual at no additional cost. You will receive a digital copy and one printed copy of your new Policy Manual.

Vector Safety can create single policies or a complete manual. We offer two types of complete policy manuals. We can use our ISN®/Veriforce® approved policies and customize them for your company. We can review your current policy manual, and if deficiencies are found, we can merge the existing policies with our policies.

 The EHS Policy Manual includes one hard copy and one PDF copy of the Employee and Employer Handbook. The Employee Handbook is a cliff notes version of your EHS Policy Manual, highlighting the critical information your employees need. Each employee can be given a copy of the handbook to access your programs. The Employer Handbook is essentially the same as the Employee Handbook, except it is directed more towards Management.
